Since Floyd declined to fight Marquez, should he try to get Darchinyan?

    I hear you. But there was plenty of public interest in Shane after he completely obliterated Margo, plus that fight got extra attention with the whole wrap "controversy".

    All I'm saying is that if the Pacquiao megafight wasn't out there, Shane - PBF probably would happen. Who else would Floyd get big money for fighting at 147? Hatton again would be a tough sell.

    JMM should just man up. If he doesn't want to be slower @ WW then pull a card out of PBF's handbook & come in under the limit so that you can keep your **** together. The only reason to want PBF @ 140 is to hope that it drains him. And even if PBF did sign @ 147, he'd still probably come into the ring at 145/146.

    The Hatton fight only happens if Pac loses to Hatton.

    Which, could def be sold.

    Hatton lost to Floyd the former p4p 1, beats Pac the current p4p 1.

    Because it's posturing. Get him to concede on one thing, you might gain a lil leverage in others.

    Whoever blinks first will lose in negotiations. Especially when they start discussing ring size and what not.

    I agree.

    It's not like Floyd is some physical monster at 147. This fight would be all about styles, and while Marquez would have a better chance closer to 140, I'm not sure it would be so much better that it's worth whiffing on the money and a chance to beat the best fighter of his generation.

    Make the fight JMM.

    Marquez's highest fight night weight was 142 for pac and 140 for juan diaz. Floyd's highest weight was 149. Not big difference at all. They should make a catch weight of 145 so both have to drop or up 4 pounds.

    However the basis of his point is correct, i'm as big a mayweather fan as they come and would like to see the marquez fight made at 140 which i believe floyd can still make, but if he can't make and can only make 147 well then there is enough 147 fighters out there to fight that deserve the match.

    Its simple for me if floyd wants to come back at 147 he should fight the best at that weight, if he wants to fight pac and marquez he should drop back down to 140 where he is a much better fighter than at welter anyways

    Man, I've seen you spar.

    And it has nothing to do with your athleticism, but I saw the style that you used and it was obvious that you worship the ground that Floyd walks on, but it's even more obvious that you don't understand the fundamentals of boxing.

    You see son, Winky had no way to win the fight unless it was on the inside of Paul's long arms as I predicted.

    Unfortunately, I thought Winky's size would be a determinate factor in this fight and he would be able to bully Paul, a former welterweight around, but it turned out to be a nonfactor or actually one that appeared to favor Paul who seemed like the stronger bigger fighter.

    If Winky would have been more active, it could have possibly gone the other way, but considering Paul's noticable improvements, and especially his ability to tie Winky up on the inside and take Winky's best shots, made it very difficult for Winky to win this fight.

    I wouldn't expect you to understand, because despite the fact that you appear to be slow, you still fight guys who are bigger and taller than you with just as much speed from a relatively up right position attempting to shoulder roll.

    Fortunately for you, your opponents don't know how to box. That's what's funny to me about all ya'll Floyd fanatics. You think you understand boxing and worship Floyd and his "shoulder roll", but then you completely fail to excercise it correctly as ya'll have no idea the basic stance involved in boxing.

    But that's alright.

    I mean, I guess Bernard is an idiot too since I basically copied and pasted his thesis for the fight. I didn't realize that since you, SD, and Rudyard all suck eachother's dicks that makes ya'll the smartest guys around, even more so than the executioner.
