Viloria is my dark horse if I decide to put money and I might if he is a significant underdog. Mayo gave Solis trouble and I always thought Viloria had really good power and skills. He slacked of a bit, but I am certain he is capable of pulling out the win againts Solis.
seriously I think Donaire will make a statement in this fight. IMO Martinez is a good fighter but Donaire is a really special one and I've been reading about his training camp apparently he has done over 120rounds of sparring and says he is willing to go 24 rounds if needed. Also 2 weeks out he was only 8 pounds above the limit. Donaire, TKO6 in a jaw dropping performance.
If this was the Viloria of few years ago, it would definitely be an even fight but he's certainly not the same fighter. Physically he's capable but psychologically, he's not the same fighter and he can't pull the trigger.
You are absolutely right. I am thinking that he may be reinvigorated. Nobody wants to reach his level and fall short. He still has something to prove and maybe it will make him hungry to win. If Viloria comes in with a hungry state of mind he beats Solis. I am thinking he might.
inactivity might be a factor in donaire's performance but IMO he still got this one. Donaire KO9 Martinez uh uh.. not in his home!
Im sure that most people havent seen enough of Martinez to back him up against a battle tested champ like Donaire.. Martinez has only fought a few times on Telefutura and there's no reason why anybody would pick him unless they know something about Donaire that we dont...
