Monte Barret is not a journeyman, he's limited but he's got some talent. He's C level. IMO, there are 5 different level of fighters out there: A level - fighters who can compete at the top (Wlad, Chagaev) B level - good fighters who lack a little to be A level, but can beat an A level fighter on a lucky night. (Virchis, Meehan) C level - decent fighters with some talent who can compete some but can't win big fights. (Mollo, Monte Barret) Journeyman - decent, brave, tough, in shape trained fighters with no talent who can hold their own in the ring. (Cisse Salif, Mora Jr.) Tomate cans - out of shape, untalented people who are courageus enough to step in the ring and put their health at risk for some money. (Bryon Polley, etc.)
Kali Meehan for me being Aussie. Also a bit of a Michael Grant fan. They are two good journeymen for me.
Cooper was my favorite contender. I wouldn't consider Cooper as a Journeyman, but he is definately a Gatekeeper. Guys like Cooper, Barrett, Grant, and the like are solid B-level fighters. Guys like Kali Meehan, Ross Purity, Bigfoot Martin, those are C level fighters.
