Hatton is tailor-made for Pac. Hatton won't box for long like he did against feather-fisted Paulie. As soon as he gets tagged by a Pac power-shot he will turn into a brawler, get careless and rush in like against Floyd. He also does not posses a good enough jab to freeze Pac for other punches, something that JMM did at times. I think Hatton's weight fluctuations will catch up with him this time as well.

Another reason Hatton will try to wrestle Pac is because he only has a 20 inch reach, about 3 inches less than Pac. Pac will use his superior foot work to stay off the ropes (the only place Hatton will have much affect) and step to Hatton's side while throwing brutal straight-lefts and right-hooks. If by chance Pac gets on the ropes he'll simply tie up Hatton's left arm and wait till the referee breaks them up or spin Hatton around.

Ricky's face will quickly resemble ODLH's from taking huge shots combined with having to lose 40 pounds in training. Floyd Sr will be throwing in the towel or Ricky will be kissing canvas as he rushes in. Most likely the fight is stopped by the doctor or referee.

Hatton's vaunted left-hand to the body will not be a factor. Roach will have the Pac-Man prepared to neutralize that punch above all others. Roach and Pac just spent the last training camp working on neutralizing the left-hand of ODLH. Look for Pac to use the straight left then move to his left and avoid Hatton's left hook. Pac will keep the fight in the center of the ring and just turn Hatton continually while he batters him. Hatton's aggression will only speed up his demise at the hands of Pacquiao. The speed of Pacquiao will have Hatton completely out of rhythm.

Mayweather Sr. and Hatton are banking on Ricky pushing Pac-Man to the ropes and landing something to Pac's liver. They believe (like many fans) that Hatton is stronger. I don't think it's a certainty that Hatton really is stronger. Besides, strength cannot counter-act superior speed and skill. Hatton also has a terrible habit of squaring up to his target when attacking. Like I said, he forgets anything Sr. taught him (other than maybe a poem) as soon as he gets drilled!

Also, another factor is that the Mayweather fight took something out of Hatton, at least mentally. Even Roach believes this as he said it himself. The performance of Hatton against Malignaggi does not really show where Ricky is at. He was under next to no threat from Paulie who only has 5 career KO's and glass-hands. Hatton will be having nightmares of the Floyd fight when he steps up to the big stage again. He said himself he cried for weeks after his destruction at the hands of Floyd. Some fighters just don't recover from their first loss. Hatton is one of them.

This will set Pac up for a super-fight with Floyd, Cotto or Marquez III (Pac will never fight Valero, his worst nightmare). Only if Pac beats one of them will he be undisputed P4P King (unless Floyd is back at the time)! One more thing. Ricky, try and miss the ring post this time (and you would not be P4P #1 if you won). This will be the out-come but the fight will be exciting while it lasts. The only bad thing will be Hatton's fans making all that noise they call singing and distracting me. Pacquiao will KO Hatton within 7 rounds. Hatton will be put into retirement as Pac-Man finishes the job Floyd started, again! That's all for now.

Very long post so I didn't bother to read it. But your prediction is influenced by Roach. TKO in 5 is still early.

I say TKO in 6. I will stick to that.

I already made these conclusions before Roach mentioned them publicly. So tko 5 is early but 6 is not?

I got to the end of the second paragraph and the ridiculous Paulie/ mouse comment, gave up reading and just skimmed the rest but the gist seems to be that Hatton will stand in the middle of the ring and allow Pac to dance around him throwing punches?:patsch

Hey GazOc I'm sure they think hatton just going to be like oscar was in december letting pac hit him with everything. I think they'll be for a great suprise when hatton tags him.and hurts him.

If Pac can do that then good luck to him but nobodys managed to pull that trick off against Hatton so far in 45 fights at 140 lbs.

Pacquiao won't allow Hatton to do his thing. I can already hear excuses blaming the referee when Hatton loses.

If hatton loses it'll be down to pac, no one else. You are talking about the excuses from hatton fans if hatton loses, what excuses will pacs fans and the general haters of hatton be saying. Heres one wow he beat someone who started his career at 106 pounds.:-(

The fight is getting closer, Expect Pacquiao to have to go back to the drawing Board, Hatton is going to win~ 9th RD TKO~
