Seriously, has Jones lost his ****ing mind? Does he have a death wish inside the ring, or is he just punchy?

Adamek is going to beat the **** out of him if this fight actually comes off.

    Thoughts?

Roy clearly still loves to fight. It is getting a bit silly though he is getting big fights that he dont deserve. He has done nothing to earn this fight, just being an all time great should not keep getting you title fights.Id like to see Roy retire but it sounds as though he has no intention of packing in.

Personally, I would love to see him get KTFO by Adamek.

there's no doubt a prime RJJ would of outboxed adamek, but what i like about adamek is he's all business no bull**** and he always comes to fight. adamek is the man at 200lbs he's earned it Rjj has not done anything recently to earn a shot with adamek and would get slaughtered if he took that fight.

Prime Roy would do what Dawson did to him but worse. Today though? I don't know.... I think Roy can get hurt in this one.

Excuse me? No doubt? I beg to differ.

    On this, however, we agree.

Agreed. Roy used to avoid the biggest punchers in every division for a reason when he was younger.

Now he wants to fight Adamek? I don't believe it.

Some people have this absurd misconception that a prime Roy was "invincible", but I wonder if a lot of these same people have carefully examined a list of names that are conspicuously absent from his resume.

Once you scratch beneath the surface, a pattern emerges.

Prime Roy breaks Adamek in half. Are you serious Rumsfeld? watch any Roy Jones fight from 1996 to 2002, and then watch Adamek lets say from the Briggs fight or any fight from 2004 to 2006. and then come back to me

Option 2 and 4 are sort of the same thing.

My main point is, look at a list of names that AREN'T on Roy's resume.

A strong argument can be made that the list of guys he never fought was better than the list of guys he did fight.

He never really beat the top dog in any of the divisions he won titles in, and in every division he fought in, he tended to avoid the biggest punchers in each at the time he was there.

    Coincidence?

    I think not.

Roy always sought the path of least resistance and never dared to be great.

Yeah, I ****ed that up. My bad!

I meant to right Adamek has a slim chance on the 2nd one, but I was typing too quickly and lost my train of thought.
