i tell you darchinyan earned more than rafael marquez in their entire career...but we all know that rafa has more talent...

I usually agree with you Asero, but not this one. Whether it's by a KO or not, i dont think it matters.. He's coming back from a long layoff and he could be in there trying to get some rounds in and that's acceptable.. I mean he's not only coming back after a long layoff but he's coming back from a brutal war.. Putting some rounds in or ring rust can come into play in a fight like this.

yes, but rafa is a one punch artist...and martinez is shot...almost any decent fighter would KO him...plus, marquez is naturally bigger...martinez is not even top 40 at 122

KO's are not the the deciding factor in what makes a fighter elite. Terrible post Asero. :-(

but in rafael marquez style, it is buddy...you never expect him to box and run..
remember the pastrana fight..he said that he is not satisfied in his performance because his timing was not there

I hear you, and maybe you have a slight point. But in no way should that be the judging mechanism here. After three tough fights and being off a year, Rafa is not required to look spectacular to keep his status as a top fighter. And a 12 round white washing is not anything to be ashamed of, should he win that way.
