The only way to get back t one belt is to have the nysac and the nsac only recognise one sanctioning body.

 

The Japanese only recognise the WBA and WBC if i remember rightly so that's a good sign

 

all the fighters should boycott 3 of the santioning bodies and only fight for 1

It's scary. I'm watching Riddick Bowe vs Herbie Hide for the WBO strap and HBO refused to recognize the WBO title at the time so it was dubbed a "Special Attraction" fight. Nowadays the WBO is as respected as any other of these token organizations.

Almost makes you wonder which one is next.

Back then when the WBO was created in 1989 no one gave a **** about it and rightly so. I think Daminani was there inaugural champ at heavyweight. ( some obscure Italian) Of course Mike was recognised as THE champ globally. Daminani's career never amounted to much. Warren on the other hand viewed the WBO as a godsend and latched on to it in the mid 90`s when it started to gain some steam.

Thats because the IBO belt always just happens to be on the line when theres a big name bout. For as many "good" IBO champs there have been more even woeful champs. Jawaid Khaliq not ringing any bells.. The only thing credible about the IBO is there computer based ranking system. Other than that the belt isn't worth ****.

no im talking just plain IBO title matches, you ever watched a few? ive watched plenty and there arent too manyboring ones, and this is because of the good ranking system.

now instead of running down the ibo the only thing WRONG with them is the fact that the belt is barely egarded at all, not their fault and if they were regarded higher than the WBO then the title fights would be a lot more interesting

 

Prospect? I remember Khaliq going life and death with an incredibly old Jan Bergman!!! He got knocked down at least 3 times in that fight. Looks like Khaliq is back to driving cabs as he's been gone from boxing for some time and is certainly retired. He's career never amounted to anything to even warrant being called a prospect (apart from when he called out Vernon Forrest :roll.

 

More belts cause MORE problems. The current ones are a disgrace. And that includes the big 3. The WBC's Emeritus nonsense, the WBA's super champion farce and the IBF being investigated multiple times for fraud by the FBI along with DKP. Adding more belts to this mess only makes matters worse and dilutes the title even more. Boxing doesnt need the WBO IBO WBF WBS WBE WBU IBU IBA etc etc. It doesnt make a shred of sense to favor one belt more than another when there all shambolic. The only ones i can give some semblance is the WBA and WBC and thats purely from a historic standpoint because there the oldest belts.
