Yes definitely. I personally think this fight could go either way. JT aint going to knock out Froch but Froch can definitely KO Taylor

Yes, he has a very live chance.

If he works the way Pavlik did, and he has the attributes to do so, he can knock Taylor out.

I'm picking him TKO11 while behind on points.

I'm picking Froch. I think he has exactly the type of aggression and heart that will put Taylor's intensity to the test.

It's not a confident pick, though.

If Froch can keep Taylor from finding his range -- something he is very capable of -- he has an excellent chance. He better watch that low left hand though; Taylor can put some real mustard on his straight right.

So % Wise the fight is like....

    60%- Taylor
    40%- Froch

I Hope JT wins... itll be better for the sport... give us some potential great fights at 160 if he can even get that low any more...

Of course. He has some power, although its extremely raw and telegraphed. He has fighting heart and aggression. These are some of the key attributes I'd want in a fighter to face Taylor, who has no real intensity at times and shows defensive and stamina flaws when under fire late in a fight.

Ultimately though I'm picking Taylor, as the skill gap might be too large for Froch. I don't think Taylor can possibly lose this on points because he is by far the more schooled and physically talented and Froch does not set a fast pace. I'm not confident enough in Froch's handspeed and subtlety to blast Taylor out.

JT has a great history and has been in some action fights and is the type of guy who can attract more fans to the sport..... well spoken good looks & a decent fighting style...

he showed with his fights with bhop & pavlik that he can put on a great show...

froch really doesnt have much history and is virtually unknown and if he wins i dont really see him doing much for the sport

On the other hand Froch is more exciting and willing to fight anyone. He LOOKS for the toughest fight.

I think I disagree with you, though if Taylor could really knuckle down and commit to the sport, he would be good for it.

    :huh

Is the implication here that Taylor isn't willing to fight anyone?

If Froch wins, he'll look for the Kessler fight which would do some pretty big numbers in Europe I think.
