If you're wanting to start slow why would you drink slim fast (which is crap by the way) and take pills? Just cut your calories and eat healthy. You'll get a lot more out of your workouts with proper diet than you will with that crap.
Amy is right as usual, you shouldn't take either of them. Whole natural foods, small portions, six times a day. Regular exercise, whatever gets your heart rate up basically. There are no shortcuts, anyone who claims there are is lying or ignorant.
Yeah I agree with answers here.. unless you're grossly overweight and can't move you need to just eat well and exercise. There really isn't anything better than just doing the work and eating the right nutrients afterwards to the get the best out of your body and help it repair. Are you obese btw?
You don't need any of that crap. If you're eating right and getting enough sleep and exercise you'll have the energy to work out.
That's just plain wrong. It's a good idea not to drink fizzies but apart from that I see no logic in your statement.
Even better make a mix tea of various green teas (longjing, sencha, etc), herbs (nettle, mint) and seeds (fennel, mustard, etc).
It doesn't have to be 'perfect'. If you try to do that, you're just setting yourself up for failure. Treat yourself once in awhile, just don't go overboard and keep junk food to a minimum.
