Clottey was 156 vs. Zab. The Corrales fight was at a catchweight and he was fully clothed. I'm not sure where you're getting your numbers from.

Both in good shape, Cotto always looks like that way before fights, hardly ever saw him fat.

    Awful pick.

There's no way this fight doesn't go the distance.

Clottey has a great defense and a strong chin, and big heart.

another bad style match up for Cotto. Notice since Cotto is leaving Arum he now puts him in with Clottey.

I got Clottey by TKO in 11.

We will now find out how much the Margo fight took out of Cotto. I believe the size will give Miguel problems.

How is it a bad style match-up?

A bad style match up is somebody like Margarito which is why he beat Cotto, obviously there may be other circumstances but I won't go into that, somebody that can back him up and set a fast tempo and wear him down.

Clottey will give him time to pick his punches and his variety of punches will cause Clotey problems despite his tight guard. He'll allow Cotto to set the tempo and fight his fight, and if he does that your not going to beat him.

I meant the fight with Shamone Alvarez where he came in 170, not the Zab fight...Either way he comes in around 166-170 for alotta fights!:deal

No fight night weights were given for Margarito-Clottey. But Clottey only weighed 156 for the Judah fight...

    ...and only 158 for Gutierrez...

Clottey is a decent sized welterweight, but not nearly as big as he's made out to be.

No way Clottey wins unless he connects with a KO punch while Cotto is coming in! Cotto will box this guys ears off. Clottey likes the high guard good! Cotto will be able to dig to the body and move away. Clottey has a poor work rate and doesnt punch in combination, he is basically a lunger looking to land big.....Cotto will be able to move and pick his shots while working at a comfortable pace. The pace will almost be like a sparring session easy decision win for Miguel ....

Im hoping for a KO, Cotto can take this guy out. Clottey basically walks his way in throwing sparing punches. Cotto can therefore set down on his shots to the body and head, whats left to see is how much Clottey can take. That is the difference in Clottey being KTFO or decisioned. l believe Cotto can hurt Clottey to the body. Clottey's only chace is to lunge in and connect with something massive which is always a possibility.

I think Clottey is a favorable matchup for Miguel and the fight will end in a Cotto victory.

The only time Clottey came close to being that big was against Chico. But the Chico fight was at a catch weight above 147, and Joshua was fully clothed when he tipped the scales on fight night. He's never came in that heavy before or since.

Clottey isn't the biggest welterweight, but he's built like a tank.

This is going to be another severe test of Cotto's late rounds stamina.
