Haye is a bit of a ****, the person to replace DLH will be an intelligent, gracious, nice fighter who the public can fall in love with. Someone like Juan Diaz. And im pretty sure he needs to be American, Lewis was as nice as new-born puppies, yet he never transcended the sport.

I think you've choosen the wrong person for Haye to replace.

It will be hard for anyone to do it. The public fell in love with Hoya as a young kid when the big story in the Olympics was a kid who wanted to win a gold medal for his recently deceased mother. Such a story makes a star. Whoever fills the void will be a "goldenboy" from the very beginning.

Oscar never went to his opponents charity and started to stalk and bad mouth them. Haye having the personality? Give me a break. No.

No, the guy to fill Oscar's shoes has to be an American.

Manny is Oscar in the Phillipines, Hatton is there in the UK, Wlad is that in Germany and the Ukrain. The US doesn't have a superstar in the making right now.

I think Pavlik had that kind of star potential but he just isn't a truely elite fighter.

The closest to fill Oscars shoes would be Victor Ortiz but he wont.
