No. They both dominated in completely different ways. No way was "easier" than the other.

Dz is all wrong for Kirkland..but if James wins, ho boy....he pretty much silences the world.

Julio did alot of good things vs Sd, and won several rounds, In fact i think that Max boxing scored the fight 115-113. I think the official cards were 116-112 if I remember right. That isnt dominate. Beatting a guy up every round and making him quit halfway though the fight is dominate.

    :good
DZ hadn't taken so many punches from Julio in 12 rounds as Kirkland in 6. Sergiy had some problems in early rounds but in late rounds he was playing with Joel like cat with mouse.
DZ vs. Kirkland gonna be great fight, it's classic "bulling puncher vs. pure boxer". I think winner will fight Paul Williams, because Dzinziruk is WBO champ and Williams keeps Interim belt. All i'm afraid about it's that Dzin is Kole's fighter, while Kirkland under Oscar's promotion, fight for WBO belt, champion goes to contender backyard.... nothing reminds?

I don't think Kirkland is better than Dzinzurak BUT he beat Julio's ass much worse. not even close .

He also took more punishment in getting it done- nothing wrong with that, of course, it just illustrates the style difference that makes the matchup so intriguing. It should be a great fight and the winner has as solid a claim of being top dog at 154 as anyone. The winner vs Paul Williams makes a ton of sense.

I'm afraid the screw job he suffered vs Cintron may have messed up at least his short term prospects...I haven't heard who he's supposed to fight next, but I'd like to find out.

He is Vernon Forrest's mandatory challenger. So most likely it will be Forrest.

I want to see Kirkland fight Paul Williams at the end of this year or in early 2010. That would be a potential FOTY

It's good that Kirkland's staying active, but Dzinziruc is going to be a big test. There's got to be easier ways to a title than him.
