How many belts would SRR have won if they had Jr. divisions when he fought?

I believe that Armstrong did beat men who were super featherweight and light welterweight champions.

I think it's safe to say that he would have atleast held titles in featherweight, super featherweight, lightweight, light welterweight and welterweight divisions.

And as everyone knows I am the biggest Alexis nuthugger of all time, but he's a far better 126/130 lber than he was at 135. Put Ray Mancini's style-body-type in a 130 lb fighter and Alexis just would not have struggled. It wasn't the weight, but the age he was by the time he moved there and the fights he had already been in.

 

From reports he also arguably was robbed of a title at middleweight...There is some contention as to whether it was the official title but welcome to the modern era really, if Hank was challenging for a different version of the title then..it is no different to having a grab at one of the alphabet titles now.

I do tend to think though that Hank would probably be content with fighting at his natural feather-lightweight range where he could probably dominate..and dominate a lot of the best fighters in the world at the time...rather then just weight jumping and fighting weak titlists.

As I said before, think Ray with the right match making can win a belt at Heayvweight. Ask Jones Jr and Toney.

yes but people didnt really like the divison and thought it wasnt as good as the original weight classes thats why theres a big gap between afew champs

between 1941 and 1946 there was no champ as the champ was in 1941 went to war and nobody foguth for the ttile till 46

then 13th 1946 was the last defence by then champ Tippy Larkin who later lost to Ike Williams and the title was declared vacant until 1959 when Carlos Ortiz won it

so there wasnt a champ in 1947, interresting becuase SRR could have contested for the vacant title
