You would take the opinion of a guy that has actually FOUGHT Kotelnik lightly?

i think he's just trying to get a fight with khan after the fightss over with, for alot of money as a "grudge match" as he hasnt got long left and wants as much in the bank as possible

You are lazy, and only 1 in 21 pro fighters has been able to tear Khans paper chin.

The daft thing is that if every time Khan fights you pick "Khan to be brutally KTFO" you will no doubt eventually pick right, but it would hardly be vindication of your stance or a true insight into your pugilistic knowledge. :thumbsup

I've never said "Khan to be brutally KTFO" in my life (or written it, and I copied and pasted that so it's still true). The only time I've ever picked against him was Barrera and I was wrong (sort of, shady goings on wipe the slate clean as far as I'm concerned), I didn't make a prediction of the Prescott fight as I knew nothing about him. However, I don't think he can survive in top class with that chin, not to suggest Kotelnik is top class but I believe he'll win.

Well he fought Bradley and still managed to misjudge his ability and predict Holt to beat him.

He also thought Malignaggi would beat Hatton, so even though you would think Witter would be a good analyst, he hasn't shown much suggest he is.

Kotelnik is as tall as Khan, stronger than Khan, as technically sound a boxer as Khan. more durable than Khan. Khan will have to fight in Kotelnks range, he cannot box at a safe distance ala the Barrera fight. So he will be at risk of getting hit, by the biggest guy he has ever fought. I predict a Knockout Loss for Khan. Brave choice of opponent, but then is it, if he stayed at lightweight it would have meant juan Manuel Marquez .

Scott Lawton was taller than Khan.

    Scott Lawton is crap.

Kotelnik isn't much bigger than the top lightweights. All the physical advantages are still with Khan, it is the timing and accuracy of Kotelnik's punches which will be the worry for Roach and co.

True, Roach will have to work more on defence work and footwork and keep improving the counter punching/timing shots. Note at 140 Khan will have improved power, better balance (stronger legs), maybe a little better chin.
