Clottey Vs Cotto Might Get Very Ugly For Cotto

You Can Bring this back up if im wrong..... but thats just how i feel

 

on the contrary on fight night either way this thread is going to be bought back up.... i think a lot of you are going to be very surprised....

Clottey has never touched the canvas in his career... only one time in his first fight in his career which is flukey...

indeed.... cotto could surprise me but this fight could get very very very ugly for cotto

 

no for the cotto margarito fight my original thought was margarito was going to win... but i thought cotto was an unstopable force destined for a matchup with mayweather as he looked like in the other fights so last minute i went with cotto.. i was wrong..

my feelings of why it "MAY" get ugly for cotto

- Clottey will come into the fight bloated and be able to outmuscle cotto and impose his will physically
- Clottey can throw multiple uppercuts by the 3's and 4's and he can also throw them out of combinations or counters.... this punch is the punch miguel cotto is the most susceptible to
- Clottey wont chase Cotto which will work against cotto... it will give clottey the ability to fight in the inside which is where he is successful at
- Cotto is not a speedster or a Pitbull inside... for Cotto to win he will have to stay away from the inside... if cotto decides to stay inside with clottey... he will open himself up for what clottey is best at
- Im not sure if cotto is good / fast enough to keep the fight outside and just pick clottey apart

This is a short list.... what do you think?

 

I dont really see cotto having the power/style to do that to clottey... i mean then again I could be wrong.... im not god or anything... this is just my opinion
