I saw it last week, pretty good. I was impressed with how professional Pacs setup with Roach and Moorer looked. Hopefully one of the shows will have some Hatton-Lara sparring footage.
Yea just watched it. It was a bit of an introduction as you say. It's not bad though, so far, and better than the recent 24/7's which were a bit off the boil, imo. I was quite surprised to see Billy Graham appear, as I thought they would have ducked that topic altogether. Roach has a version of the body bag that Graham got absolutely slaughtered for. Having said that he uses pads effectively along side it and appears to be getting a lot more tactically from it - in things such as footwork - positioning and defence (with Moorer as a third eye) - rather than just saying hit me as hard as you can for as long as you can. Roach says he "doesn't want him (Hatton) touching your (Manny's) body". Pacs camp does look very professional (to be expected I guess) as has been said. Roach states he banned visitors because Pac was performing for them and not him - which perhaps highlights the working intensity between the two. The music and voice overs in these series really do get you up for the fight. I guess that's the idea, they're essentially promos, but you get a few bits of boxing interest. I wish I was in Vegas....
Moorer is a psychopath i wake up each morning waiting to hear the news he has gone on a shooting rampage in detroit
Episode one is up on the HBO site now... This content is protected It's on You Tube as well at the moment. Edit: I just seem to get a "loading" message on the HBO site.
The advert was on during the 24/7 show for the fight, claiming it is a fight for the p4p title... Also some of the parts of the show were missing compared to the one that aired in America.
It seemed to me when Michael Moorer was giving Pacquiao advice, Pacman gave off a vibe like "I know what I'm doing, shut up you big doughnut". Or something to that effect. It's clearly a move to help Roach as his Parkinson's worsens.
