No, not one great fighter blowing another out, like Foreman/Frazier. No, not a fighter with serious skills but a lack of dedication putting it together for one amazing performance like Tyson/Douglas. I mean a true **** fighter beating a great one, or at least one well above him. Basically, wins with a MASSIVE gap between the two fighters. Doesn't have to be the biggest one of all time but list a few. Marion Wilson clearly, CLEARLY beat Ray Mercer and was robbed with a draw. Marion Wilson, tough as he was, was not a very good fighter. Now 12-9 Thomas David knocking out Kendal Holt in one round was pretty god damned out there.
A 6-6-2 Danny Blake beating Lenny LaPaglia twice in a row was out there. Stopped him both times. Lenny LaPaglia was a massively hard hitting fighter who challenged Hearn's late in Tommy's career for a minor CW title. Blake finished his career at 12-45. No joke.
Kirkland Lainge beating Roberto Duran was a shocker. Roger Stafford derailing Pipino Cuevas' comeback. Dave Tiberi shocking James Toney (Terrible Decision)! Marvin Johnson's one punch kayo over Victor Galindez Vito Antuofermo's rally to hold Marvin Hagler to a draw Saman Sorjaturong knocking out Humberto Gonzalez Unheralded Zack Padilla defeating Bollilo Gonzalez via decision.
I would not put Baldomir as a underdog vs Gatti, Gatti was on the slide by than, and Carlos was on a row. Carlos was the champ after all.
Braddock-Baer comes instantly to mind. McCoy-Chip Olin-Rosenbloom Risko-Yarosz Rossman-Galindez Backus-Napoles Santana-Norris (if you want to count DQs) Vaca-Honeygan
that dont count really it was a cut and napoles hammered him in the rematch Angie Dundee said if he was there Jose would never had lost that fight
