I'm with you. Until/if this fight is made, I'm 'posted out'. Seems pointless given who their next opponents are announced to be.
I'll take Abraham, his defense and terrific counter punching would give Pavlik trouble. Plus he has a terrific chin. Defense and a great chin trumps Pavliks power. I say Abraham K.O.'s him in 9.
king arthur will knock out the over hyped pavlik,i like watching kelly but he is so over rated....:bbb
After Abraham loses to Pavlik by KO, not TKO, a knocked the **** out and **** yourself KO, he'll whine about being weight drained, and move to 168 where guys like Bika and Andrade will beat 7 shades of **** out of him.
Or very objective when it comes Pavlik. However I have to partly agree with him on this one. Pavlik by wide ud. He''ll keep him on the end of that jab and pummel him all night. If he looses his discipline however Pavlik will get decapitated!
I've made many posts where I gave Abraham full credit for the things he does well. His defense is good, but vastly over-rated. For example, LuJaun is a feather fisted guy who had been living off Bronco McKart's left overs. He split Arthur's guard and snapped his head back with jabs multiple times. AA does not throw a right hand. He throws freaking hand grenades. He's got plenty of power in his left hand as well, but there is a long list of fighters who took AA past ten rounds, and none of them are in KP's class. Speed and smart movement coupled with enough power to get some respect, and a long stiff jab, bother Pavlik. Arthur is not fast, nor does he have great footwork. His jab is neither long nor fast. Pavlik's history says a short power puncher with modest speed couldn't buy a blink with his life savings, let alone hurt him. Arthur stays dangerous for 12 full rounds, but again, the history says that as long as we're at 160, about round 5 or 6 KP gets into a zone where he's comin' forward firing hard with both hands, no matter what. When AA is under that kind of pressure, he goes to the ropes. What happens to guys who go to the ropes in the mid rounds against Pavlik?
We heard that Taylor weighed 320 lbs before he fought Pav, and that's why they fought at 168 lol. Anyway, Pav is overrated just has old 43 year old Hop showed us. Pav only has Hop on hi resume because no true fan really believes that Taylor ever beat Hop anyway. PAv can't box a lick, and Hop even punked his cornerman after the fight lol.:nut
