Seeming as im out of the gym til monday ive been shadowboxing a lot more and been working on punching from different angles and moving my hands up and down like a sort of dummy action and a threw a jab followed by a straight right and for some reason it gave me a slight adrenaline boost so i followed with an uppercut and threw some hooks to follow. Does showboating actually help you?
he means showboating - that little burst of energy he gets from doing something he thinks is cool. Some guys like RJJ seem to live by it. Just don't be like that guy who tried to jump off the ropes, turn and punch - he got KTFOd as soon as he turned.
thought you buried, we might have to get the spades out and try finding ours and bury it agin in someones back
moving my hands up and down and throwing a dumby punch is what i meant by showboating. And seriously give me a real answer instead of abuse cos its getting old now.
its feinting then show boating is like sticking your chin out, the ali shuffle, waving someone in, winding up shots feinting is like moving your hands, moving your head forward, pretending to throw basically show boating is for the pros feinting is essentiall
Yeah, it works great if you want to **** your opponent off and get rocked when he times you doing it.
Really? must have got my wires crossed then. my bad. But still couldnt hurt to showboat a little in the ams right?
no dont showboat at all the ref pulls you up for it i show boated once and the ref went nuts but in my defence my opponent show boated at me at the start of the round from his corner by sicking his chinm out so i did it in his face theres no need to show boat its disrespectful i only do it in the gym for a laugh and its all like winding up bolo punches and ali shuffles to my mates when we have an easy night
