He did pick Cintron. Unfortunately, HBO rejected that fight, Berto dropped out of the running, and he was stuck with Clottey. This wouldn't be the first time I was wrong about Cotto though. I did say he would beat Margo, and well...we saw how that turned out. And Nard didn't get his ass beat against Calzaghe. He landed all the clean punches while Calzaghe did a good job of impressing the judges with his arm punches that had no effect on Nard.

 

it should be a PPV fight, Boxing has really been good with alot of non PPV fights. it better have a least 1 undercard because everybody is gonna watch this, put Gamboa on the undercard at least

Ive never been a big fan of Clottey. He got a rep for the 4 rounds he had against Margarito. And then went on to beat shopworn fighters in Corrales and Judah. After that hes been pretty mediocre. Cotto will bust that ass easily. Cotto by stoppage.

 

Nard is a living legend, an icon. He doesn't need to fight anyone. However, he'll fight any fighter who wants to get his ass kicked ; just as long as the money is right.
