I believe that MArgo was loaded only for the Mosley fight.

He beat cotto's ass because he had the better chin and was able to absorb more punishment, straight and simple. He was able to dish out as much as he took but Cotto couldn't do the same.. He has cotto's number.

 

Obviously you haven't seen the Lujan fight.

 

Look what happend in that fight was Lujans dumb ass was getting hit on the side of the head over and over making his ear Swell with a collection of blood Margarito popped that **** as if it were a zit end of story.

Because Cotto didnt have a gameplan, andisnt that good like everybody thinks he is. dont get me wrong here, I like Cotto and hes great. but that was an easy fight for me to pick and cash in. Cotto really has never fought going backwards expect for the Mosley fight which he lost the rounds he did go backwards. of course his defense has always been suspect, and he thought he can actaully KO Margarito. when it didnt happen he didnt have another gameplan. thats why im hapy he got another trainer

I personally believe Margo started loading up after the Clottley fight when he hurt his hands. Why? When Nazim approached them in that dressing room their excuse for using that pad for to prevent hand injury.

I think styles make fights! Its that simple... In a rematch Cotto will win, but Margarito even without loaded hands will cause problems...

Same way that Quintana defeated Williams in the first fight and was starting to already land that quick left on Williams in the second fight... he has the right style to frustrate.

Winky over Shane.... is another example...

Mayorga over Vernon is another example... this is why boxing is Awesome!

Anyhow, I dont think its the first time Margarito loaded up because the pads had OLD BLOOD STAINS ON IT.... OLD ONES!
