    Thats my point....what adversity?
I'm not knocking you....I'm just trying to get your viewpoint on why you think Clottey will win.

I'm picking Clottey because I think he's more durable than Cotto....I dont think Cotto can hurt Clottey..We all know Cotto is the better boxer no doubt about it....and history doesnt lie...I've seen Cotto hurt many of time. Clottey will walk Cotto down with that high guard and break Cotto down.

People say that Cotto's body attack will play a role but I dont see that happening either...If a limited fighter in Margorito was able to take away Cotto's favorite weapon...What makes you think a guy with good defense in Clottey wont be able to neutralize Cotto's body attack...its a whole lot of factors that I'm looking at that plays vital keys in this match up.

Another point I would like to present to you is Cotto and the uppercut....Many have seen Cotto is weak to the uppercut and Clottey throws a nice uppercut....Thats another factor I see.

Did that help you out homie?:smoke

Clotty has overcome adversity and Cotto hasn't? Rudyard you seem to have more sense stored in that noggin of yours...please elaborate on that far from accurate observation. IMO Cotto has shown true valor, composure and heart throughout his career. I believe he's been called to improvise and prevail through adversity much more than Joshua has and this will somehow play a vital role in the upcoming bout. I agree a stoppage is highly unlikely but not out of the question on either mans part.

Yeah but since the loss to Marg, common sense should say he's made some improvements because if he didn't he would showed lots of signs of slippage against Jennings considering the fact he just came off a loss going into the fight. Don't expect the same Cotto from the Mosley or Marg fight cause your gonna be in for a big suprise if you do.

I agree. It's going to come down to Clottey's greater durability in the end. If Clottey does what he's said he's going to do and that's go right after Cotto; things could get really ugly. If Cotto tries to bang with Clottey, and he makes the mistake of planting his feet, and loading up the way that he does when he's in kill mode, he's going to get caught with hard counters in the process of doing his own damage, over and under, left and right. Clottey's best punches are his counter/lead straight right, his counter left hook, and his counter uppercut - all punches that are veiled behind Clottey's shell guard - punches Cotto has always been (and will seemingly always be) overly vulnerable to. Even if Cotto tries to box I think he's in for a rough night, although Cotto will be much better off that way, in my view. Using every shred of his boxing ability is paramount to Cotto in this fight.

Clottey's inactivity will hurt him some or do you not take that into consideration?

How do you know he will be inactice???

Will Cotto's chin hold up or will he fold under pressure like he did against Margorito...We both can play that game you're trying to play.

Cotto will win this in a great fight.

Anyone know where he is training in Tampa and if he will open it to the public?
