I don't think Hopkins would accept because imo its too big of a risk for him. Stylistically its a bad fight for Hopkins. Fast active fighters all have a shot vs Hopkins..Dawson/Williams/Calzaghe

I did, and I am a big time Hopkins fan, but this fight could pose risks to him and is by no means a sure thing.

What if Williams can take Hopkins best shots?

Williams is way too open, Hopkins would capitalize all night. Winky was having success but wasn't busy enough, or versatile enough. All Winky did was jab and throw an OCASSIONAL left cross, thats it.

Williams would win this one. He comes from too many angles, has a reasonable control of the distance, throws combinations, doesn't follow a predictable pattern, with an insane output. All better than Kelly Pavlik. You don't beat Hopkins with power, you beat him with volume, which is what Calzaghe did, and what Williams would do.

Hopkins will NEVER take this fight.

But what if Hopkins couldn't seriously hurt Paul?

Then we would get something where Hopkins was landing the more telling shots but they would be far fewer than what Paul was throwing.

The difference would be..Williams has much faster hands, much more athletic, better defensively, and a southpaw, and puches from every concievable angle, all of which would make for a much different fight in my opinion. The only concern would be do all these attributes still come into play at 168-175 which is the range they would probably fight at,,AND could he take HOpkins punch

Do you think Paul can take as good of a punch as Pavlik, though?

    Ah! I spoke prematurely.

To me, that's the big question: Can Paul take B-hops' best shots?

If he can, he wins, if he can't, he loses.

    That simple to me.

    :good

Everyone has to remember; this fight will never happen. These are just games his promoters are playing to continue the Williams Terror Hype... Dont get me wrong, the kid is good but he aint that good.. lol

This is the same thing Arum did with Margarito... he offered PBF 8 Mil to fight Margarito but he knew PBF's contract had just expired and he knew PBF wouldnt take it...

Why would Bhop fight Williams when he can fight:

    Adamek

    Tarver vs. Dawson Winner

    EASY MONEY FELIX TRINIDAD FIGHT!

Bhop will not fight Williams, not because he is scarred of him but because he has earned better options, he is looking for only mega fights. Same reason shane wont fight Williams...
