i never said he gets koed, i said his chin was shaky. he gets rocked a lot by lesser punchers.

Gotta love duddy, i'd really like to see him get a shot at a title.

People always go on about how Pavlik/Abraham would destroy him, but i think thats unfair. Sure i think they'd probably beat him, but he's got decent technical skills, heart and a solid chin. He'd last better then the bums Pavlik/Abraham have been fighting recently.

Even if he got stopped, it'd be a great fight up to that. Plus he would get his payday which he deserves.

I'd like to see what he'll do at LMW, cause i do think he's lacking the power in middle.

guys like duddy are great for the sport and if there werent guys like him ranked 5-15 in the world whats the point of the sport?

anyone that cant beat the top top guys should give up?

he comes to fight, is a personable polite guy, good lookin bloke and actually is quite a good boxer but the irish mentality is that if your not trading your not really in a fight

he knows he belongs at 154 but wont get half the money he could there fighting abraham in ireland or kelly in AC on MSG

i think hes gona fight one, lose like a hero and then kick on the final part of his career at 154. after all he got bills to pay like everyone else. so hell ,if people love to watch him scrap, he gives his all (unlike alot) why the hell shouldnt we cheer him on?

burns is getting him fitter and stronger than hes ever been and at the end of the day a fight is a fight. good stamina, great chin and a punchers chance and you know it will be great to watch no matter what happens so at the end of the day hes good for the sport. all power to the man

I always kinda thought Duddy's next opponent was because of his Ytown connection. After hearing an interview I'm just not sure WHY. Lyell spars with Kelly Pavlik. Arum want a gage of how well Duddy is doing? Is Duddy going with Arum if he gets out of his Irish Rope's mess?

It does kind of look like Duddy will end up with Top Rank.

He said he does on the radio show I just listened too. Says Pav hits a lot harder than Kirkland, and that is with the 16 oz gloves to boot. :D They said he trains at Jack Loew's gym.

quick edit. maybe not recently, but he is living and training in the area, so....

He was onthegrind last week and they asked him about sparing with Kelly, he said Kelly gets his own guys in for that and they aren't in the gym at the same time.

Maybe they use to spar until Kelly hit the goldmine and needed better sparing partners.

I read tht Kelly has to pay $1200 a week plus expenses for sparring partners. True?
