Kessler wins something like 116-112 or 115-113. I would doubt either would be stopped. Kessler has one of the best jabs in boxing in my opinion. It's a damaging punch, stronger than Pavlik's jab I believe. Kessler by KO if Pavlik is as easy to hit as he was against Taylor but I think he's improving. Kelly won't have any of the physical advantages he has at 160. It would be a good fight and one I'd like to see. If Pavlik keeps working on a few things I noticed in his last fight it'll be closer to call than the way I see it ATM.

There's no shame in losing to JC but his best wins are probably Kessler, Lacy and his title defences. He was too sloppy against B-Hop and ate a lot of right hands, and I scored that fight even; RJJ was past it.

I'll take Kessler by SD in Europe and Pavlik by SD in the USA...I think itta be a close fight that could go either way...The location would matter I think though!

I don't recall ONE fantasy match up of anybody ever that ESB has given Pavlik the chance to make it out of the 4th round.

King Kong Agbeko TKO 2 after Pavlik quits on the stool.:yep

Not a bad post at all Jeff, I just don't necessarily agree that Pavlik WILL unquestionably lose. Nice post though.:good

Everybody focuses on the jabbing contest, which is very understandable considering both fighter's jabs are in the excellent range, but I think Pav could get to some of those tatoos on the torso of the Danish Super Boxer. Super Joe had him hurt bad with a body shot, and whether ESB likes it or not, Pavlik is a hell of a body puncher too.

I'd have to wait for Kelly to properly grow into the weight before ruling him out in this one. I think Team Pavlik learned their lesson on division hopping for now. Everyone seems to forget Kelly hurt his hand in the second Taylor fight. They thought it was broken for a while.

The body punching was one of the things that got Kelly through the ranks, it won him the 2nd Taylor fight, and in the Rubio fight it was really good. Ya -- it was Rubio, but those triple left hooks were great.
