It was close by Mayweather standards. Definate UD but not by the scores the judges had it. Oh and its 40-0.........you forgot the biggest win of them all, on the biggest stage, against the biggest athlete...... The Big show.

Beats me.:conf It was in your original post as the style that would give PBF the most trouble. Figured you might want to flesh out the original premise of the thread.

Well, if you take a 6ft tall, rangy, skill full, credible welterweight in his day with nice balance, power and good fundementals with a amateur pedigree + boxing brain he would give alot of people trouble right? The same man who beat a prime Shane Mosley when he was a candidate for p4p no.1. Does that still seem illogical to you?

Its a fight that gets slept on, some would say his most daring and risky fight to date.

May i say im so shocked at the lak of replies this thread has received when I KNOW for a fact many on here use the Castillo fight as their argument for Floyd not being an undefeated fighter.

I've always said Spinks had the type of style that would give PBF hell and people laughed at me. The only thing why I wouldn't favor Spinks is because he isn't active enough. In order to beat PBF you need these things. A southpaw preferably tall and long. You need a good jab, decent pop, good handspeed, be able to counter him, good defense, good footwork and workrate. The problem is no one currently exist in boxing with all these attributes with the closest being Williams and Spinks. Pressure alone won't beat PBF he has too much defense and good footwork to off set it. That's why I always said a guy like Margo would have been made to look like an amateur.

A prime Oscar is still the loser of big fights and receiver of gift decisions. Oscar always had problems with speed and defense.:deal A faded pea clowned dropped and out landed him he also lost to a prime Mosley. PBF beats any version of Oscar he's simply the superior fighter.:deal

Im nt sure why people would laugh atthat observation, Cory Spinks is a very serious operator. Margarito would have lost every round to Floyd.

Exactly! Spinks is a good fighter but gets shitted on here because of his style. Spinks was robbed in his last fight against Phillips. I always laugh at people when they say Margo would have killed PBF. The guy is a plodder you can't beat PBF by being one his footwork and defense are too good. Not to mention he's slow, wide open with no jab PBF eats fighters like that alive.

Why do people keep bringing up Cotto? Arum made sure to keep him away from PBF at 140.
