These two guys are out in the cold at the moment. JMM has called out FMJ, he wants a tune-up first. Mosley wants Hatton or Pac but that wouldn't happen till late in the year.

What about a catchweight fight between the two? They need a fight this summer surely or will they wait it out.

    What do you all think?

It leaves the fighter wanting to comeback in the cold more so than GBP.
(And by GBP. I mean Mosley & JM. Marquez)

Let's not forget Hatton also has ties with Oscar's promotion.
They actually hold the cards on a certain fighter's comeback.
Unless Pacquiao want's to throw him a bone.

Horrible fight for Marquez. The guy is basically a 130lb fighter, and you want him to tackle a tank at around 142/3?

JMM IS the tune up for Floyd. Basically.

And JMM isn't exactly out in the cold for long. Barring a Hatton upset, I figure he'll be fighting Ricky at 140 in the fall. As per a summer time bout? Guys like Nate Campbell and Michael Katsidis are out there for hi.

Apparently HBO aren't too keen on Nate Campbell. And as for JMM being a tune-up for FMJ, that's just a bit ****ing disrespectful. The fight wont happen anyway.

Wouldn't surprise me really. Nate doesn't seem to be what HBO looks for in a fighter. That said Juan Diaz/Nate was on HBO as was Funigga/Campbell.

I'd put money that if GBP told them JMM/Nate Campbell was the fight, they'd take it.

i would like to see JMM give a beat down to Judah... would make him some money as Judah is still a draw (or nate campbell would be cool)

That's right because fighting Cotto, Williams or Mosley will never be an option in Floyd's false sense of reality. He'd rather have a Lightweight come up to 147 so he can show off his amazing skills.:D

Or to put it better, he'd rather have a guy who's had 50 out of 55 fights at Featherweight come up to 147.

I think both are waiting on the Hatton-Pac result. More information should come to the fore after that. I believe Cotto, Mosley, PBF and JMM are all looking at that result first, because we could see any of those guys taken on the winner.
