pac is a hitter than a runner... watch the barrera rematch, there is a certain point there where pacquiao put his hands down for barrera to engage in a fight but what he barrera do? he keep on moving backwards...
it's better to answer option #2 than to make lame excuses...barrera was half the man he was in his fights with pacquiao, why? bec pacquiao is just too great
Part styles and part because Pac is just that good. Pac has a tendacy to run over his opponents not named JMM...apart from those fights he has pretty much ranned over everyone. He lost to Morales because Morales has that height, at the time size advantage, that chin and with all the other factors too, cut above the eye, winning gloves etc. Many will try to brush off the gloves issue but IMO, there's a reason why Morales camp insisted on winning gloves for both fighters, and after the 2nd fight Morales himself wore Cleto Reyes gloves. Wether it was a case of confidence or it was a case of needing 300 punches to break Morales down instead of 200 with the Cleto Reyes, that makes a lot of difference. Morales ran out of gas in the 2nd fight 2nd half, if he was being hit by Reyes gloves is it not possible he would have ran out of gas in the 1st fight too?
Morales beat a one dimensional pacquiao....Prime for prime, from 122-130, Pac would beat morales, 90% knocking him out....:good:good:good
when you come to think of it... pac was 1 dimensional when he fought the pound per pound number 3 :good
coming from a veteran poster who once agreed pac wont last 4 rounds with hatton :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
Talking of asses... that one in your avatar is well nice... you could crack wallnuts on that. I don't think Asero is a dumbass... just an ardent Pac fan. Personally i think if Pac had fought the prime Barrera that fought the likes of Nas Hamed and the trilogy with Morales Pac would have been dealt with... he just fought Barrera at the right time when MAB was a bit shopworn... still an achievement to beat that version of MAB though... not taking it away from him
again, give me a ATG fighter that is in his pre-prime and was an 4-1 underdog and went on to school an ATG in his prime
