There's no way I am paying a tenner to watch a live stream where thousands and thousands will be trying to watch it at once.

In my experience (and I work in web development) there is no guarantee at all that it will work without complications and I can't see them giving refunds either.

 

It wont make a difference mate. Illegal streams may not work properly from time to time but a proper legitimate stream will work no problem.

Theres also no guarantee that your TV will recieve a signal but it generally does.

I absolutely hate watching streams, the quality is 90% of the time terrible, however, if the stream was high quality I would me more than happy to pay money to such a service.

I'd easily pay the £12 per month that Setanta was stealing from me to see top fights on a weekly basis.

I just don't like watching fights on my PC monitor full stop really. Don't mind the odd clip on Youtube, etc, but I'm not risking a tenner on something that could easily **** up, as my PC's not exactly the most up to date, fastest machine out there.

I don't watch illegal streams anyway, and I'm not taking the moral highground either, I just don't like the quality and the buffering. I'll get hold of a DVD of the fight eventually. Not the same as seeing it live, but that's life.
I'm also not advocating illegal streams, but in reference to Buncey's claims it's "stealing from Carl Froch's mouth", well....

...in a way - GOOD! I hope Carl gets so pissed off with it and then realises why he's been "robbed". Simply because he has a promoter who has acted like an idiot and pissed off the whole of the British boxing public whilst in the process of screwing up Froch's career in terms of market value.
That way Froch will dump him, get himself a promoter with common sense, then Carl can resume his career with the exposure he deserves, and those loyal British boxing punters can get to see the fights they deserve. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

So if it takes Carl Froch being screwed, so be it. Let's just hope he analyzes the causes and reasons for it, and it helps him see sense in regards of future career options.

No, I'm not saying I want to see it, I'm saying if that's what it takes for Carl to realize Hennessey is f'ing up his career, then so be it. If Carl gets burned this time around, maybe he'll prevent it from happening again.

I'm not paying £10 to sit up until 4am to watch a stream on my Laptop, if it was PPV on Sky so I could watch in the comfort of my living room infront of my bigscreen T.V then yes I would think about it

But staying up until 4am to watch a 5 inch picture and have to pay for the pleasure..... no way

Well it depends if the stream is good enough to fill my screen. Because usually the only decent picture you get is in a youtube type window
