    No my friend he wasn't. He was a "very good" fighter with a masive heart. I loved the guy, but he wasnt top tier elite.

    Floyd Mayweather - completely destroyed Corrales, KD5.

    Fernando Vargas deserves some mentions. Guy before the age of 30 had fought just about everyone Winky,Quartey,Trinidad,Mosley 2x once with one eye,Mayorga etc. Didnt matter if he was shot or weight drained or basically out on his feet. Vargas was a bad man and a true warrior boxing needs more like him.

    Corrales was obviously never elite p4p but sure as hell an elite 130 or 135 iber. You dont beat Castillo,Freitas and Casamayor if you aint one of the best.
