Thats a bit of a shock! Going to the fight on friday and i knew marsh had pulled out because he couldnt make the weight, but to retire seems a bit rash unless something has happened in his private life, or hes simply fell out of love with the game. Good luck to him whatever he goes on to do.
Read somewhere that he was going through personal problems thats why they pulled him from the fight tommorow. Think there was someone on here who knew Marsh, dunno if he still comes on here. Hopefully het gets whatever problems sorted, good luck to him
I do, and although I would of fancied Munroe to win I certainly wouldn't have wrote off Marsh and his high workrate. He would of definitely have given Munroe plenty of early rounds anyway, and if Munroe couldn't make an impact with his size and strength tiring Marsh out, then I definitely think Marsh would have had a chance of outworking him over 12 to take a decision. I think Munroe's camp will still look to the winner of this clash(now between Booth and Moran), they'll probably want the British title to add to the European and Commonwealth.
