Is David Haye talking himself into a beating?

Yes, Yes he is.

Wladimir is going to be like Lewis or Hopkins. You **** them off, they come out determined and with a gameplan to tear your ass up.

Haye is just writing his own death sentence. All the talk isnt gonna throw Wladimir off his game, its just going to make him that much more insanely focused.

 

This is just fight hype.

And no fighter is unbeatable, especially in the heavyweight division. When two big guys start throwing bombs anything can happen. Remember Lewis / Rahman?

Wlad should win (I hope so) but make no mistake, Haye can win.

 

Emanual Steward lives for these kinds of HW Championship fights. He loves fighting and taking advantage of hype jobs. Notice you don't hear much from Steward. He wants everyone to think Haye is that monster Tysonesque figure. Build him up REAL GOOD. Then shock and shatter the british chin before millions.

Steward did this in the Tyson fight. He knew he was gonna win all along, but he needed the public to think the opposite, it would put Lewis among the all time greats after a win. He is doing the same thing again here, and no one seems to really see it, except he and Wlad, Chef and those who are living in the reality world.

Every time I hear a Haye fan say and write the things they say, I just think of that famous saying by P.T. Barnum...A sucker born every minute. And Wlad and Steward will be going all the way to the bank and HOF.

The way Haye is being talked up by his fans and himself, there is no other place for Wlad but the HOF after this fight.

Pffft... Wlad hardly has the balls to advance on a an overmatched opponent. I doubt he's going to charge at Haye 'Tyson style' and give him somekind of epic beating in there. Wlad is the favorite to win here, but he's not going to change his stripes and all of a sudden thrash Haye all around the ring. He's going to come out with a cautious and technical style as always and either live or die by that style.

 

More likely that Haye is left wanting, in a heap of ****-talking garbage in the middle of the ring.

im sure hell keep that cautious, jabbing style, but i wouldnt be surprised if he unloaded a whole mess or right crosses.

 

Derrick Jefferson tried a similar approach fighting Klitschko and Vladimir knocked his block off, then as Jefferson staggered around his corner Vitali ran over there and got in Jefferson's face asking him if he wanted a second helping. I suspect the same thing is going to happen to Haye.

 

When will you all learn that mind games don't work with Eastern Bloc fighters? Haye can talk and wear all the ridiculous T-shirts that he wants. Wladimir Klitschko is going to do exactly what he says and that is punish David Haye. If he is annoyed it's because he has to wait until June to dispose of the guy. It's not as though anger will trump his composure and thus, ruin his gameplan. Hardly. David Haye has been running his mouth to anyone and everyone for the past year saying that the Klitschkos are robotic, calling Wladimir out on the way to a charity event of all places, and proclaiming himself the "saviour of the heavyweight division."

Haye hasn't won any nor will he win any "mindgames" against Wladimir. He has, however, talked his way into a major title fight for major money so he has won in that regard. As for the fight itself, the moment Haye tastes a Wladimir right hand he'll be sprawled out on the canvas or, if he somehow manages to absorb it, he'll fold up and play the survival game.

 

Vlad has been fighting since he was a kid. He knows what he is doing. Vlad was a little angry at Austin and Jefferson, both 6' 6" fighters and in top ten. Haye has never fought a top ten heavyweight. Vlad will time Haye, watch and see.

 

I don't give a **** who wins, just so long as the fight turns into something more exciting than the last few snoozefests with Wlad involved.

That may not be his fault, if his opponents are shithouse. But at least blow them out early, or take them out when they are there to be taken out.

I was in agony watching the Thomson fight. After about the third, thomson stood dead still, with his gloves as earmuffs. And it still took Wlad about 7 or 8 rounds to finish him after that, even though it was apparent Thomson was throwing about 3 punches a round.
