Agree to disagree (although I agree Floyd is a better figther than Pac, for example I think Floyd would stop Pac at any weight, Pac could well end up with a better resume) also, Floyd didn't fight the best in his divisions when he could've beaten them easily.

Okay that is possible but I say Pac and Floyd both need to do more, and PBF does beat Pac at anytime and any weight, handily.

Well it's seems to be the consensus that Barrera 1 was the last top fighter Pac beat convincingly in their prime, in 2003.

What do you think of Pryor? Two decent wins, over ageing legends, yet held very high due to his ability.

jeff, i do agree with you about floyd. i mean, i don't care for floyd's attitude and style, but, come on, the fact that people are implying that pacquiao might beat mayweather at welterweight is ridiculous. mayweather was, at his best, and probably still is, another class of talent and athleticism completely. even with the layoff and being out of his best weight classes floyd is still very fresh and takes excellent care of himself, even if he has gained a little weight since retirement. at welter, floyd is too solid, too strong and still too quick and accurate. his athleticism, alone, would negate manny's speed and agression. his accuracy would keep manny off balance. his jab covers too much ground for manny to have many chances to flurry inside. floyd also does not have a notable weakness in terms of accuracy or vulnerability against left-handed fighters, which has been key in several of manny's career-defining wins. it just wouldn't happen. like i say, i don't like floyd as a guy, but as a fighter he would just be too much to handle.

the floyd mayweather who was at or around his best near the end of his time at 130-pounds would just box circles around the manny pacquiao of any weight or point in his career. i would much rather hang out with manny, have beers with manny, but that can't overcome the logic here.

in addition, to be honest, i think the post-retirement floyd probably has more left in the tank and less ruining miles on his tires than manny, which could really play a part if these two end up in the ring together.

Ledwaba could also be included..Prime and top fighter in that division..

Morales and Marquez could also be included..Morales was the best other than Barrera, and there was no one else to chose from, though was a little past his prime...Marquez also but he didnt beat convincingly..

I dont think pacquiao was cherry picking, its just that, they were the best at that time and no one else..

Convincingly and prime then Morales in the 2nd fight would be the last one.

And btw Jorge Solis seems to be a much better fighter than people thought he was. He just knocked out Monte Meza Clay and I think he'll whip Cristobal Cruz' ass. but he's far from being a top fighter like Barrrera, JMM, and Morales.

Solis is very good, and with a fight with Gamboa might be able to prove himself more. Still favour Yuriorkis though.
