He might prove to be one day... but now, and at the time of the Calzaghe fight he's only considered to a be a very good B+ level fighter. Not 'A' level elite. So you can count Calzaghe - Kessler out IMO.

if someone wants to play devil's advocate he can make an excuse for ANY fight.

There are always a few idiots that are either huggers of the guy that got beat or haters of the guy that won that will make a ridiculous excuse.

Also Kessler had injured his right arm and could not spar much before the fight.

Well the evidence for that being true is how great Ray fought in the rematch. He made Duran quit.

Jackson might argue it was a premature stoppage. I don't myself, but he did (at the time)

    There's none in my opinion.

It just shows how many excuses are constantly made by both fighters & fans that thats all I can come up with.

I dont know anyone that isnt a complete wanker that disputes Mosely`s victory here & roids isnt an excuse, its clutching at straws by a small minority of Hoya worshippers because he lost cleanly at his peak in his best weight class.

No, the Marquez draw was the socks, the Morales loss was the gloves... still cracks me up to this day.

Good call... tho they might use the `too small` excuse for this one as Gomez was MUCH better at 122 than 126 where this fight took place.

Toney & fans claim weight drained tho & his performance would indicate he isnt far wrong but I personally prefer to give Jones credit for a masterclass of boxing myself.
