Edison Miranda VS Andre Ward Poll* and discussion

There is not a better accumulative puncher than Kelly. He doesnt necesarrliy have the one shot power that Abraham has, but he is accurate as hell and chooses his punches wisely. They are short straight shots that take there toll fast.

I see Ward similar to Kelly, but with not nearly the power or chin. Ward may be very close to what Allan Green was at the time he fought Edison. Hopefully the result will be the same!

 

So if Ward is not much of a draw in Oakland, I wonder why they are having this fight at the Oracle Arena. Its gotta sit close to 20,000 people. Why not put it in a smaller arena more suitable for boxing that sits 5,000?

miranda chin is a lil shaky but pavlik had landed some bombs for 7 rds before he ko d miranda abraham well it didnt take quit as much to ko him. but other than that nobdy else has really hurt him. and in the pavlik fight miranda was doing some damagesd on pavlik and we all seen the robbery of the first fight with aa so i think if miranda catches ward and hurts him it could be lights out but ward does not have as near as much power as kp or aa. so if he cant hurt miranda, miranda will come straight forward all night.

 

this is the time for ward to shine. i know he hasnt fought a legit oppenent but he is an olympian for a reason and can box and miranda is no different the mayorga he is so easy to counter and hit

 

im picking ward by UD, miranda has the edge in power but i think te better boxer will win this one

 

Watch the Allan Green fight. Nobody thought Miranda could win that fight by decision. He won it very easily. When he needs to box, he can box. He outpointed Eastman, Green and most think he outpointed Abraham in fight 1. He was even up on all three cards against Pavlik going into Round 6.

Dont be shocked, Miranda can win rounds. His style my not be pretty, but ugly can be fun when he is pounding his opponents all over the ring!

 

Boxing is OK unless it interferes with the fight.

 

Ward should win a decision here, but even a shop-worn Miranda is a very risky fight for a protected meal-ticket like Ward

thats cause allen green said he was only 20 % that night. lol i didnt watch abraham and miranda first fight. kelly i did i dont know what judges had for me kelly was winning. eastman fight i thought was a good fight. i like the excitment miranda can bring. my problem with miranda is his mouth and he pose to be religious? same reason why i dont like peter. this is reason why i do like him though. his story. his fighting style and his goals after boxing. i just wish he would be more respectful in ways if he is a man of god.

 

Miranda has his way of mentally preparing for people he has to meet in the ring. I don't see it as being counter to religion at all. If you want to go that route, "Love your neighbor" might not fit into boxing at all. It is what the fighter says AFTER the contest is over and whether he puts that attitude aside and gives the deserved respect that matters.

 

Im a fan of both fighters. Been a fan of Ward since the Olympics and Miranda since before the trash talking. I going with Miranda KO. To much power and experience.
