I'm telling you...Margo, cheater or not, ruined Cotto. Clottey is going to whip his ass WAIT AND SEE!!!

This fight is gonna be a lot closer than most think. Cotto's trainer problems and the fact that he's going against a tough and hungry fighter could spell doom for Cotto. At first I was going to pick Cotto but now I'm not so sure.

 

Well Cotto's always basically trained himself, so theres nothing new here.

 

Clottey has the right attitude, but Cotto is no punk. Clottey is going to have to really **** Cotto up to get him out of there, and Cotto isn't short on desire, technical capability, or ring generalship.

Clottey is claiming he's going to have the night of his life, and it will take nothing less than that.

Clottey by decision, possibly TKO.

 

Pathetic, using allegedly plastered hands which you have no proof even occured as an excuse for why Cotto was running for his life and was eventually beat into submission. You claim Cotto will demolish Clottey now. What will be your excuse if Cotto loses this fight?:think

 

He wont't lose. He is determined that he is still undefeated and will win. If this is how he really thinks, then it will help.

Again, there is no proof that he did anything wrong against Cotto. If we use your logic, then we have to assume that he cheated in every fight. Imagine if we did that for every fighter who was caught cheeting. We might as well assume Toney and Jones roided up in all of their fights as well. I guess we should invalidate all of their wins too.

Cotto is going to lay the smack down on Clottey, if he Cotto does run, Clottey won't be able to keep up, then get KO'd. I think that Cotto can take some postives from the Margo fight, only way someone can beat him, if they come at him with bricks.

 

But we are talking the fight right before the fight he was busted trying to cheat that happened to be the biggest fight of his life againest an undeafeted hard hitting *****, that beat the guy Marg tryed to cheat againest :deal

So its alittle different then just saying

"oh we have to say he cheated all his fights if we say he cheated agaienst Cotto":nut

Circumstance surounding the sequence of events leads one to believe that him cheating againest Cotto is likey :hi:

 

A lot of people are saying that Clottey is hungry which I believe is true, however, I also believe that Cotto is hungry as well... At this point in his career, he can't really take a risk of loosing again. He also wants to proof that Margo's fight was an off day for him (and possibly a cheating night for Margo)... Look at it this way...

Cotto didn't have to fight Clottey if he didn't want to... He could have picked Cintron, Berto or a rematch with SSM if he wanted to, but no... He decided to go against a hard guy to against in Clottey... He also had the chance to delay the fight (as per Arum) and he didn't want to.... Plus allegedly the fight between him and his uncle is because he wanted to move his camp to FL were he feels that he can concentrate better than in PR. Guys, I'm telling you... Cotto is hungry and he wants to regain the place he feels that probably he got taken away in a unfair manner.

 

Clottey can't create the sort of pressure Margo is capable of creating. Going forwards, he has lots of bad habits, he doesn't want to be chasing Cotto anywhere. A lot of the time when Clottey has an opponent backing up he just walks forward totally upright with his guard up throwing no punches and using no head movement.

Clottey is going to have to cut out the lazy **** he has shown in other fights. He can't take time off during rounds, or else he won't do the damage to stop Cotto nor will he accumulate enough punches to win rounds. If Clottey moves a lot without jabbing, on the premise that Cotto's punches don't cause any damage through his guard, he is gonna look bad on the judges scorecards by allowing Cotto to flurry to the body and head.

Clottey hasn't shown a 12 round performance capable of beating someone like Cotto yet. He will need to counter sharply like he did for the first 4 rounds of the Margarito round, except for the whole fight. He can't take any time off letting Cotto score punches even when Clottey looks to be in control (like he does a lot against lesser opposition).

I think Cotto will be more consistent throughout the fight and will inevitably win a hard fought decision, probably with a few scary moments. Clottey would need to fight the best fight of his career to get past Cotto.
