Your wrong. Alot of Boxing buffs know more about the sport then the boxers themselves:deal

Take Jermain Taylor for exsample, this ***** doesnt even watch boxing or know much other then what he is told by his camp. :hi:

Look at Ricky Hatton, Floyd SR said he didnt even know how to hit mitts properly, and Ricky does not even understand what pound for pound means :nut

...Just because you are a Boxer doesnt mean you are an expert. It just means you can fight/box.

You're only looking at it from the angle that allows you to justify a scenario that you have no proof occured. What about the fact that Margo was struggling to make weight against Mosley, which would make him more likely to seek outside help? What about the fact that Mosley is more durable and has a much better chin than Cotto? You could easily see why Margo would seek to improve his power against Mosley instead of Cotto considering how much more difficult it is to hurt Mosley.

Also, the Cotto fight was huge. It was a big event that took place in Vegas. There was a lot of attention paid to this fight. It would be much harder for either fighter to load his gloves than it would be in a lower profile fight in Cali as was the case when Margo fought Mosley. Don't also forget that the Executive Director of the NSAC cleared Margo of any wrong doing in the Cotto fight and states that he is certain that Margo was clean in that fight.

Now does any of this prove that Margo definately didn't cheat in that fight? Of course not. There's no way to prove he didn't cheat. However, it pokes a whole lot of holes in the notion that he had to have cheated in that fight.

Incorrect, the circumstances that you listed are nothing but conjecture and don't prove anything. I came up with even more circumstances which poked all sorts of holes in your theory. You have no proof that Margo cheated. Until you do, just accept that Cotto got beat down in that fight.:deal

Oh, i didn't know you were a boxing expert.. what magazine do you write for? Maybe i have read some of your stuff?

And i don't really agree with your examples - Jermain Taylor for instance - the way someone performs does not necessarily reflect their knowledge of something - a lot of people simply don't have the ability to think in those types of situations - i mean, i know how i should be kicking a ball in the middle of a football (soccer) match, but to actually execute under intense pressure, battling fatigue and such is very difficult. Still doesn't mean i don't know the techniques or what not. Unless you have had in depth discussions with Jermain Taylor i don't think it's fair to comment on his boxing expertise

Similar thing with Ricky Hatton - he may have just adopted his own style over all these years despite his knowledge of what SHOULD be done. Besides, Floyd Snr is himself a former fighter, and i doubt anyone cannot agree that he is pretty much at the top when it comes to being an expert on boxing..

HBO turned down Cintron as an opponent, Dibella took Berto out of the running, and Shane refused to fight in New York. Clottey was the best money option left.

I didnt say Jermain doesnt know **** about Boxing because of the way he fights.

I said it because it is common knowedge that he doesnt know **** about Boxing. He has said this in countless interviews and even on his countdown show againest Pavlik2. He doesnt even watch it and never has.

Because I don't know the answer. I have said nothing in this thread that I would consider hating on Cotto.
