" I am not saying that it is..." " I don't know that " " Not saying that this is what it was "

Then what the hell do you know and what are you saying?

According to CSAC they did sufficient testing and found Margie guilty as hell and revoked his license.
Now, why are you trying to rewrite history.

Whats funny was how Pit was trying to bust my chops over it and I exposed him, in fact he was paying nearly double the amount to get a coaches license, his own gym owner was ripping him off, he is now going through my guy to get his ****.

its funny how they act like they know but they are lying or simply repeating what they hear. For example nobody talked about how James Toney was so relaxed in the ring until they heard it on TV, now all the sudden everybody knows why he can fight out of shape.

Nobody talked about Margarito being a big welter weight until after he destroyed Miguel Cotto its funny how their whole base of knowledge is all from what they hear on HBO

Nobody is trying to rewrite history, if they have a valid arguement they have the right to appeal this is america, if you want to ***** about histroy being rewriteen well lets talk about Shanes fight with DLH in which the titles ended up in MOsleys hands which later went to Winky, and as a result of Shane using steroids and not being caught history was altered and it shouldnt have come out that way.
But we have not brought that up! yet you want to be set in what you beleive that is fine, but like I said he has a right to appeal if he has a valid arguement and should excersize that right.

Listen, regardless of what it is, if the opposing trainer finds some type of substance while you're getting your hands wrapped there are questions to be answered. Like I said before, Margarito is a nonentity as far as I'm concerned. I look at all he's accomplished with a great big asterisk hanging over it. I used to respect him but now I don't even acknowledge him as being a professional fighter. He's like Milli Vanilli except I actually liked those 2 guys because they weren't using loaded gloves.

I didn't really know much about the whole controversy cuz I was just a kid when it happened so when I saw their VH1 documentary years later I found out that they were a couple of young guys who just wanted to be famous and they ended up getting themselves into a bad situation. I know in the macho tough guy world it's a sin to actually sympathize for people. I have no sympathy for Margarito. You take loaded gloves into the ring to do damage.

Thats if they were loaded, if they file and appeal and the evidence hasnt been tampered with, they can request further analysis, which they should there should be a detailed analysis done to pin point exactly what he had in those wraps.

The commission did say they never got hard as they were told that they would, Plaster paris does get hard like a rock, especially a few months after the fight, they have had plenty of time to dry

I don't need to hear about due process and all that **** cuz the truth is that if we are even having a discussion about a questionable substance in the gloves to begin with there is a problem. Margarito brought this on himself. The system was not "out to get him." Why would they be? He was a model citizen as far as I know. This is a lose/lose situation cuz a very good fighter tainted his career and he and the fans are left with nothing but questions.

This decision won' get reversed unless Arum pay someone. Why was "common hand cream" or whatever it could've been on the OUTSIDE of the gauze and knuckles anyway as reported???

i dont know the particulars but i have worked with plaster of paris while making molds many times. the stuff hardens quickly and thouroughly with the addition of liquid, whether its water, sweat or ****. if the gauze never hardened to solid then it is not plaster, period. if you are going to accuse a guy of something then make sure you accuse him of the correct crime. im not saying margo is inocent of having an ilegal substance in his wraps but it doesnt sound to me like its plaster. im willing to give margo the right that all of us take for granted which is inocent untill proven guilty BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT. right now it sounds like it hasnt gone past reasonable doubt and the guy has been convicted.

I'm actually one of the more easygoing posters on the subject so keep that in mind. I'm not calling Margarito "cheater" or insulting him. He's just a footnote in boxing history as far as I'm concerned. I don't care if he fights or not anymore. I don't know what was in his gloves and nor do I care. Like I said, if we're even having this discussion there's a problem. Mosley's trainer isn't going to make an issue out of it if there's some harmless susbtance. They found something in there and a suspension was handed down. Corruption exists in all aspects of society but what does the CSAC gain by making a a guy who isn't a mainstream high-profile athlete an example? It's not like Margarito was some *****. I can see evidence being tampered with if a polarizing figure was involved but Margarito was a pretty cool dude and a tough fighter as far as we know. Am I wrong?

it had struck me as odd that some reports said it had not hardened when first inspected. plaster needs to worked quickly because it hardens so quickly. curing time is usually less than 15 minutes depending on the thickness of the piece. something as thin as the gause would harden in about 2 minutes.
