I'm sorry, I saw that you wrote that Cotto simply didn't have the right gameplan and that he's a level above Margo. It sounded like an excuse to me; like Cotto simply had to just decide to do one or two things differently and he would've won

Who's getting self-rightous? Every fighter performs at a different level. Floyd normally perfoms at a very high level. Compared to most of his outings, the ones you mentioned were merely solid.

I don't believe you were succesful in that attempt. Running is running, no matter who does it. It's not neccesarily a good or bad thing.

Whoever said Margo was the better boxer? It's called a fight for a reason, these guys are fighting eachother. There are a variety of styles that are implemented in the sport. Cotto's style falls more in line of that of a boxer, while Margo is more of a pure swarmer. Boxers are thought to be more skilled, but that doesn't mean that they are better fighters than your swarmers. Let's be real here, these two fought eachother and not only did Margo win by stoppage but he was ahead on the scorecards. Given this, is it really all that crazy to say that Cotto isn't a level above Margo?

There's no reason to get sensitive and start with the name calling. I prefer to have a civilized discussion on this forum and I thought I could do that with you. How am I a hypocrite? You tried to paint me as one by bringing up Floyd, but I will happily admitt that he has run in numerous fights. Just because I'm a fan of a fighter doesn't mean I can't call it like I see it. No, I am not a hypocrite. However, like many of his fans, you seem to be a bit sensitive when it comes to Cotto. I'm not trying to knock the guy by saying he ran against Margo. I'm simply describing what happened.

Take it as a compliment my dude...many see the talent the skill and this only attracts attention and criticisim. If Cotto wasn't quality then he wouldn't have any haters...some people are just overly critical and yes some are just pure unadulterated haters.

I think others are overly sensitive. I've been attacked for saying Cotto was KD vs. Torres, and I'm now being attacked for saying he ran against Margo(even the announcers said he was running). Personally, I think that's ridiculous. I haven't bashed Cotto, I haven't derided his skill level. However, anything that I write about him that isn't glowing praise is though of as hating. The funny part is, many Cotto fans who complain about supposed Cotto hate do a lot of hating themselves.
