I have watched at least more than 10 Valero fights that I have on DVD's and I have only seen Prescott's fights against Abril, Khan and Toledo + 2 or 3 of his fights he had in his native hometown.

From what I have seen from Valero, including his American debut, yes he has power but in my opinion his power is what will get him knocked out.

When he opens up with power punches his chin is wide open for a guy like Prescott with a 5 inch height advantage to land one right on the button.

Prescott to me can box a bit too and I liked the way he dealt with Toledo because Toledo was coming in head first, ala Holyfield.

The way I see this fight panning out is Valero moving in to land power shots and getting countered and then getting shaken and Prescott finishing the job.

I am a believer in you need more than just a big power punch to win a fight.

Valero to my knowledge has never gone the distance and I can see Prescott taking him into deep waters.

How do you see this one going?

I've booked a hospital bed for one of them. This is going to be a barnstormer. Cannot wait for this. Fair play to them for taking the fight. I'm not fussed who wins.

The thing with Valero's power is, once fighters feel it they forget fighting back altogether and spend all their energy on defense.

Presscot needs to get him out really early like in the 1st round or suffer the same fate like the rest of Valero's opposition.

should be a war, if Valero wins in dramatic fashion I think he can prove many of his nay Sayers wrong.

This one is an easy one to call, Valero blows Prescott away. People are over hyping Prescott since he KO'd Khan however in his last outing looked unimpressive and kinda sluggish to be honest. Valero is going to have an easy night against Prescott.

Why do you think that this fight will be so one sided?
I ask this because although Prescott is not in the top 5 or anything who exactly can you actually name on Valero's record who brought the same amount of danger to him that Prescott can.

Prescott is by far the best opponent Valero would have faced upto this date so why do you see this one to be so one sided?

You have to remember that Prescott has a 5 inch height advantage and reach so if Prescott keeps him at range in the same way he did Toledo then Valero wont be much good unless he can get into range.

I just think that Valero is being hyped as the next big thing but I think his train will be de-railed before it has had a chance to leave the station.

Much like what happened to Amir Khan who got Khan'd in 54 seconds.
The word for today is hypejob.....

    Valero KO1

Prescott is very, very ordinary - he won the lottery against Khan...... was taken the distance (10rds) by a journeyman in the fight immediately prior to that.

He was only selected to eliminate criticism of Khan not fighting punchers.... they just assumed he was a total bum!

Credit to him for winning that though, but he isn't going anywhere.

Khan said that his power could stop anyone below 147

You should just watch both fighters most recent fights and it's pretty obvious to see the skill difference between the two, or better still you could watch multiple videos and the conclusion will be the same Valero by murder! Prescott is overhyped and while the same is true for Valero he can actually bang and bang hard. Biggest factor in this fight will be the speed difference between the two and the power difference. I think Prescott power is wayyy over rated while Valero's power is the truth!

I'll eat my crow if I am wrong, but this one is pretty easy to call.

Nothing else than a KO i guess! both dont have any experience in 12 rounds bout! in fact i would like to see these two hardhitters deal with a fighter with a Librado Andrade chin and heart, before i praise them as the real deal!
