Prescott can definetly do the 12 Round distance. Valero looked like garbage against Mosquera. Mosquera shook him with a counter in the 1st and if that were Prescott, Valero's ass would have been knocked the **** out.

Prescott is going to knock this hype job out, he will do what Mosquera failed to do.

Valero throws his punches like Daniel Ponce De Leon, Once Valero's power does not hurt his opponent or knock them out, then what?

He has no other plan and knows no other plan

Prescott will terminate this hypejob by keeping him on the end of the jab and countering Valero's slow winging shots.

Prescott will keep turning aswell, Valero is stepping into a wold of hurt for this fight.

And his power is definetly over rated and that is the same for Prescott, its not so much power but your technique and also where you connect the punch on your opponent so all this power thing is bull****, if he was so much of a power puncher he would of taken Mosquera out with the 1st clean blow. But he went to hell and back with him.

Prescott will box him and if the knockout comes it will come.
    Valero is OVERATED AND OVERHYPED

His best win is over Mosquera, apart from that his record is full of cans and the same can be said about Prescott to a certain extent

I think it is going to be a short fight either way. Prescott did look pretty ordinary in his last fight but he didn't seem to be in the same shape as he was against Kahn.

Prescott would bang him the **** out of there in a couple of rounds, Valeros sh*T.. he cant box he can only bang.

Prescott's lanky, durable, has a height and reach advantage and can box when he needs to. HEs a pretty classy operator, hes learning all the time and improved drastically between that cuban kid and Toledo. If he improves that much again by the time the fight comes around he'll box circles round valero

The "chin is wide open" theory is overrated when referring to Valero. Like any fighter with speed, his mistake is his tendency to pull back from shots which at times exposes his chin just like Ali, just like Jones. Valero also has a tendency to go for feints at times too because he is always looking to counter you. These are mistakes you can fix. Valero has been down in a fight, he's gone 9 hard rounds to win his title, and he is battle tested.

Prescot has not been tested at all. His people think they are ready for a fighter like Valero, but I've seen this before. A fighter pushed too fast either because they believe in him, or they want to get the most out of their fighter before he is exposed. Prescot does not have the style to beat Valero, and I see Valero breaking Prescot down and stopping him...maybe early if he catches Prescot. Valero goes to the body first, and then your head which is not how a fighters usually works conventionally since fighter always want to establish their jab to set up other shots. Valero uses the jab to the body and works his way up. Valero is too fast for Prescot.

Each fight Valero is getting better and better. Those who think Valero can't box can't evaluate a fighter's styles, and they give inferior boxing outlooks to fans who can see a fighters style clearly. Prescot can't fight inside, and Valero can. Valero by ko in 5 or less. Speed kills. Prescot will hope and pray that he lands a big right hand because that's all he has against Valero.

Prescottas too much technique, he hasa slick that not a lot of people notice, especially given some poor performances

but he has too much for Valero

and lol at Valero calling out Pac-man ,what a massacre that would be

In no way shape or form will Valero KO Prescott.

Contradicting opinions are welcome, but they will be wrong.

oh and above poster...your crazy, Valero is not that fast, Prescott will beat him to the punch all night.

I'll stick my neck out and say his one wont go the distance

Should be a stormer. I think Valero will probally have to much to much for Prescott, but Prescott should take Valero further than most others have.

Sorry but u need at least 500 posts to make bets around here. A ban doesnt affect a NOOB as much, that's why.

Prescott's height & reach advantage are his best assets. However, Valero was beating Oscar around the ring who is a similar height and a far superior boxer to Prescott with much more power and better speed. I wouldn't be shocked if Valero destroys Prescott within 1 round if Breidis comes out aggressive and swinging like he usually does. On the other hand if he comes out all tentative like Pitalua, Valero will pressure him, pick him apart and KO him within a few rounds at most.

Prescott's pathetic split decision against Abril(who took the fight on short notice) and struggle with Toledo(iced early by both Soto & Peterson) shows how overrated he is from the 1 round Khan demolition. At least when Valero fights your typical average fighter he destroys them in impressive fashion. Prescott goes life and death with anyone that he can't take out in a couple of rounds.
