Against Junior Jones he was butted 45 seconds before he was knocked out cold, And since that fight Barrera showed an iron chin.

Yes, it would effect anyone... just like the gash he suffered against Khan, that fight should have been stopped no longer than one round after that happening.

I was shocked that they let that fight go on after I finally saw it. His face was completely covered in blood, it was literally dripping from his eye lids. Warren pulled strings for certain in letting that continue and then it got stopped in the 4th and its a TKO.

no doubt , the doctor looked at it twice before the end of the 4th, and he just looked and said ... " its ok " complete bull ****. The thing was brutal & dangerous for Barerra's health... and no doubt was it effecting him... boxing requires physical attributes ( like being able to use both eyes ) and mental aspects .... try concentrating on your opponent and your own defense when you have a river of blood streaming down your face.

Barrera was not out cold. He got back up, but that was the only time in his career when he was severely hurt by a single punch. Not even Pacquiao hurt Barrera that badly, it was mainly exhaustion that done Marco in that fight.

The whole thing is a mystery. Marco was an infinitely superior fighter to Jones. Styles make fights.
