Arreola looks ok. He has some success now at the "B" level. Can he have that at the "A" level also. At this time IMO........NO

Dude, it was McCline, and an old, semi-retired McCline at that. An old semi-retired, out of shape McCline. An old, semi-retired, out of shape McCline who was visibly winded after the first round. An old, semi-retired, out of shape McCline who was visibly winded after the first round and was walking gingerly to his corner in between rounds like a goddam senior citizen. Now I'm not trying to discredit McCline. I'm just trying to say I was more impressed with Chris' win over Walker than McCline.

P.S. McCline still managed to land some solid left hooks on Chris . . . whenever he could muster up enough common sense and energy to throw 'em.

Once Arreola beats a top contender then I will be convinced..he has three good wins outta four, Witherspoon, Walker and Mccline(not counting that Garcia win casue Garcias a nobody). If he beats a Chambers or a Ruiz even, somebody at the top then I will take my hat off to the guy and say he is elite.

Peter fought fast Eddie last time. And you know what --- alot of things were working (his jab, slipping and blocking) but fast Eddie was just too fast.
Now Areola fights slow out-of-shape McLine. And you know what --- he sucked.
Peter is getting alot better and it will definately show aginst someone slow like Areola.

Peter fought a guy with real fast hands.
Arreola fought a slow stationary punching bag.
And until the 4th --- it was close.
    Wake up.

At least Arreola put combinations together which allowed him to get McCline out of there.

Peter didn't put any punches together and had a crappy workrate. He did not impose his size on Eddie the way the bigger man is supposed to.

Agreed. He looked better than what I'd been accustomed to, but he's still just a petty brawler IMO. He has no business being in the ring with the Klitschko Brothers, he's awkwardly effective at knocking guys down, but McCline didn't really look KO'd...

They both looked like old men IMO. He's inexcusably fat, it'd be a joy to see Wladimir or Vitali deconstruct him.

Haha, I didn't have the confidence in my own judgment to say that, but yeah. He looked less primitive in this fight, but he still looked mediocre IMO. Being a heavyweight is not a license to be a ****ing fat, slow slob. When people talk **** about "primitive" old-timers, I just think about Brennan or Firpo against anyone in the division not named Klitschko. Hahahaha.

Arreola is the best American heavyweight by far, but he can't beat Vitali or Vlad, however, he would knock Haye out.
