Taylor UD 12 Froch -- 120/108 -- and Froch finishes out his career fighting no hopers in the Nottingham High School Auditorium.

Nah. They'll just bury him on the reservation under the slot machines to save on transport costs.

We have enough big names here at the moment, maybe he could go and fight in Ireland. I hear they're gagging for a big name/decent fighter over there. ;):smoke

Joking aside it is bad that this fight hasn't yet got a UK TV deal. Hopefully something will pull through before the event. Froch should be applauded for taking on a fight like this so soon.

No you don't, Hatton's in vegas, Khans in Hollywood getting chin implants, Haye's in Germany for the next couple of years so all your left with is a binman and some good irish lads with dodgy english accents.;):smoke:bbb

I'm sure I'd find this much funnier if I knew to which band you are referring?

Being Nottingham it has to be Robin Hood's Band of Merry Men.

If Froch is willing to wear the stars and stripes 'USA' trunks, for this fight, we may consider him.

    Those are the terms.

I think his mouth is the problem here. They got tired of his Calzaghe bashing. He killed his marketability. The networks had a lot invested in Joe and may hope he comes back for at least one more fight. I'm sure they do their market research and what Hennesy wanted was probably disconnected from reality. He doesn't seem to be any better than his product.

Froch likes to talk alright, But if i had my way Calzaghe would have fought him in a farewell fight for the fans at the millennium stadium in Cardiff. that would have settled things once and for all,but Calzaghe didnt want to give him a payday.

He's got his work cut out now but one way to win over people is by putting on performances in the ring so i hope he goes out and does just that, It's gonna be tough against Taylor but he has the heart and mental toughness to get through the opening rounds where Taylor will be strong, so if he can do that and somehow discourage Taylor he might have a chance late into the fight.

Big IF. Taylor is more disciplined now, keeps his hands up and stays off the ropes better. I just don't know if Froch's chin is good enough to shrug off the early damage. Froch is a lot slower than Taylor and I just think that holding his hands so low gets him pummeled a lot early. But, that is why they actually have the fight, so we can find out. :D
