I was told yesteday that this show is not on untill Sunday not a reliable source mind you but anyone know any diffrent, also i was in Dublin yesterday and Phil Sutcliffe was giving out posters for Dolphils next one its on in Castlebar may 23rd,all the usual suspects Timms, Waldron,Casey etc. Eddie Hyland is due on, as is a guy called Finbarr Eade making his debut i can remember him as an amateur but that was a long time ago. Another month another show :thumbsup and there was talk yesteday that the Hylands are putting one on at the start of June in Dublin probably City West.
Was also told that Mike Perez is out of next weeks card with an injury that could keep him out of the ring for a while. That national stadium is a great place for info.

Some one mentioned a couple of months but he was far from a doctor so i took it as idle speculation ,but i see Perez's name is off the boxrec schedule.
ya seen that too.really dissappointed.hes one of my favoirite fighters.there supposed to be out again in june over in newcastle.hope hes back by then.
I advised a few weeks ago for people not to go within 100 yards of this show! I was told it doesnt matter and any boxing is good for the sport........ Im sorry lads but id rather quality over quantity any day of the week! we have two quality cards on next weekend (belfast and cork) I know i would have prefered hayemaker to throw a few other irish lads on the card but cest la vie........ the card down in cork has Spike O'Sullivan and a favourite of mine, Jamie Power. I would advise anyone who wants to see decent boxing to go to Belfast or Cork next week and to stay away from galway. or ever stay at home and watch Lindsay on setanta! I havent even read the thread on boards.ie yet......... frankly i dont want to i might get sick on my shoes
I'll be heading to the next DolPhil show I was very impressed with theyre last one Id advise anyone out west to head along :deal
5 months he was due to have surgery but the surgeons said that its probably better for him to heal naturally.
If dunne somehow fought and beat vazquez he would be the ring champ. Who was irelands last ring champ?
LOL Corbett was a legend, never EVER had a dull fight, hit like a Howitzer, and the way he used to dance around the ring and do the choo choo etc was ****ing hilarious, but hes well gone now.... wasted opportunity Hes also hilarious in person
that will put a bit of a halt in mike's year.i was reading an article on the british boxing website about the cubans who were sparring in some gym in manchester.however perez was not sparring so i sort of knew there was something up.will he back fighting by the end of the year?:bbb
