I think Roach is teaching Moorer so eventually he will be able to take the physical strain off Freddie (pads, body bag etc etc) whilst Roach sticks to tactics. His body can't hold up forever and he will need help, Moorer is perfect.

    Also, he was a southpaw.

Also as previously mentioned,Eddie Futch took Roach in as a protege during his latter days.. Perhaps Roach is doing the same with Moorer.

You could be right. However, Moorer will probably teach his fighters to do **** all for five rounds and then play catch up

Does anyone else find it funny that Hatton was making fun of Floyd's mit work in the last 24/7 that he was in, and now he's doing that same mit work in this 24/7?

Ricky's hitting the pads quick. Hitting quicker than I expected.

And it looks like Sr. is teaching Ricky to be a little less reckless, and having some head/upper body movement & blocking defense even when he's on the attack.

I hope Ricky Hatton's dad gets his pride back before the end of the 24/7 series. His wife straight up jacked it.

Feel kind of bad for Floyd Mayweather Sr. I think deep down he truly wants to be close with Floyd...but is too damn stubborn and pig headed to simply get over the fact that Floyd wanted to train with Roger. They both need a lil growing up.

Interesting episode. Lot of human interest stuff, lot less on the actual boxing thing.

Floyd looks to still be in good shape...especially at his age. Its unfortunate what happened to his career.
