If I got a better satelite dish would I get more boxing on TV?

I have the normal Sky dish, but see lots of other dishes on houses. Is it worth getting a new dish?
If so which dish and who supplies them?
    How much do they cost?

I love boxing on TV. Web streams are OK for short durations, but there is nothing better than relaxing in front of the TV with a few beers watching your favourite sport

My mate has one and I don't think its as straightforward as you'd think. He's always ****ing about with different codes, boxes, card etc.

if you get one of those moveable satellite dishes you apparently you can get quite a few fights free via polsat channel. theres a guy who posts here who knows all about it but i've completely forgotten his username.

You should ask Sean, if he is still around, years ago I remember him saying he had a fancy motorized dish and picked up boxing from several different satelites.
But in my opinion, if you aint too bothered about watching it live, you can fill your boots with world boxing from torrent sites - easier than new dishes.

with the cost of buying a new dish and all the hassle would you not just pay to a legal stream site, new dish and all sounds messy

i asked kurt a while back but it seemed a lot of hassle

Dish costs around £85 + £100ish for fitting. You will then need a box. These range from £75 upwards.

You can then pick up some decent european fights on different satellites. Some boxes can be patched ie codes and you watch the fights live. Amir Khan was on PPV and people could watch this for free albeit the commentary was in hungarian, but hey who cares. Saves the £15. Klitsckos last fight against gomez was on a free to air channel called zdf.

If you need more info check out a site called alsat where you can buy dishes and equipment required. They also have a forum which gives you a guide on dishes etc. Hope this is useful.
