1. Chris Byrd - I'll give this one to you.

2. Lamon Brewster - No.

3. Sultan Ibragimov - Ibragimov better than Haye? Can you explane this one to me?

4. Sam Peter - :rofl I take it you didnt see Peters last fight, he was exposed as the bum he is.

 

1. Byrd - yes

2. Brewster - the version Wlad beat, no, Haye would be favoured.

3. Ibragimov - In general a close call, but the passive Iggy Wlad fought would likely lose to Haye IMO.

4. Peter - the version of Peter Wlad fought would make for a great fight with Haye. I'd give Peter the slight edge due to chin. But people shouldn't confuse "current Peter" with that Peter.

I strongly favour Wlad but do believe Haye's the toughest style matchup he's faced. Could end quickly depending on the tact Haye takes, but even if it does (for Wlad), it won't be without its risks.

 

Haye would have a tough time with Chris Byrd, who is very underrated.... but the rest would be blown away quicker than Gordon Brown's credibility.

1. Chris Byrd - very good boxer. A better boxer than Haye, but against Wlad Byrd was at a stylistic disadvantage because of his complete lack of power.

2. Lamon Brewster - Very mediocre fighter with a tendency to get lazy. Haye is better.

3. Sultan Ibragimov - Ugh. This guy sucks. Haye is better.

4. Sam Peter - No skills at all. This guy makes Ibragimov look like Ali. Haye's grandma is better.

Haye has done jack at heavy, All the above names have beaten top level guys. Yes-Wlad has already beaten at least 4 better fighters than Haye.

 

The key being only Brewster has the attributes Haye brings to the table in terms of handspeed, power and not being scared to death or old. And Lamon knocked him out once.

 

ok let's sum up haye's biggest wins:

enzo - glass jawed and awkward
mormeck - glass jawed and old
barrett - old and beaten by every decent hw he ever faced

 

Are you trying to imply that because Byrd is a better boxer than Haye and Klitschko won easily, Haye will be even easier?

That analogy means nothing because Byrd doesnt have the tools to compete with Klitschko.
