Are there any examples of trainers who did not have a boxing background? I'm curious to see if its possible for some guys to be successful even if they never had any fighting background in the sport.
I don't think Jay Bright had a boxing backround and he trained Tyson for a little and got some decent pay days. Also, Enzo Calzaghe never boxed and had to watch tapes on how to be a trainer.
Jay Bright was a terrible trainer who got a chance to train Tyson because he was a hanger on at D'Amatos camp. He did little if anything with boxing while with Cus.
I don't know if Teddy Atlas really ever boxed much... I could be wrong, but I didn't think he had much real boxing experience.
i dont see how norman stone has any cred whatsoever. fight him! fight this ****ing guy!!! what a dip****.
Teddy had quite a few amature fights... I think he won the golden gloves in NY. He was forced to quit because of an injury he sustained outside the ring.
His eye is still pretty ****ed dude...doesnt look good. He basically said there is very little chance of him retaining full vision in that eye unless the technology comes along..talking of God now, like he has faith God will heal it.. which sounds like a desperate man. His career is done unfortunately I feel.
