I know 99% of the predictions have been for a KO win for either fighter but if the unthinkable happens and this fight goes the distance..and its a very close win for Wlad..say 115-113.

Under this 3-rematch contract does that entitle Haye to a rematch or is only an option for Wlad to have a rematch ?

Anyway, I've just watched the press conference between them both from Germany and there was some MEAN talking. The video is in the other thread on this forum.

    So excited ! YEAH :D

I think the rematch clauses are totally in the Klitschko's hands. If they want them, they get them. If It's close and Wlad wins, I'm sure Wlad will not want a rematch. Why risk it?

That's true to some point. When, Wlad wins...he won't want a rematch, it would do nothing for him to beat Haye twice. Also he will have his IBF mandatory due by September, so he'll need to take care of Povetkin to avoid being stripped.

It doesn't have to be a rematch, Wlad could just give Haye another chance a year down the line...especially if it's close. I'm sure Wlad would rematch any number of his other opponents were they still competitive a year or two after he completely demolished them - in fact there was talk of him rematching Peter for the WBC belt before Vitali stepped back in.
If it's a genuinely close fight the public would call for a rematch and the money would be spectacular, why pass that up?
